GDG Smiles is a fast-growing, cosmetic-focused dental brand building a vertically integrated in-house lab model (NexaLab). We specialize exclusively in full smile design cases — typically 16-20 units per case — utilizing: SprintRay Pro 2 (Composite Restorations) SprintRay Midas (Ceramic Hybrid Restorations) Zirconia Dry Mill (Full zirconia cases & bridges) Crystallization & glaze furnaces (Ivoclar CS2 or equivalent) We are building a high-efficiency, high-aesthetic cosmetic lab inside the clinic, and we are looking for a technician who wants to be part of something innovative, fast-paced, and growth-oriented. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, aesthetic-minded Lab Technician capable of handling the entire end-to-end workflow of cosmetic restoration fabrication. This is not a segmented role. You will be responsible for full case execution — from design to final polish.
We primarily produce:
16-20 unit veneer cases (composite, ceramic hybrid, zirconia) Cosmetic crowns Full smile design cases Occasional bridges (zirconia) This is a full-service in-house lab inside our clinic. You will see cases come to life in real time. Core Responsibilities Digital Design (Critical Skill) Design full 16-20 unit smile cases in 1-2 hours High-aesthetic anterior design Occlusion awareness Proper contouring, emergence profiles, symmetry Smile line design aligned with facial aesthetics Work collaboratively with doctors and smile design team 3D Printing Workflow Operate SprintRay Pro 2 (composite) Operate SprintRay Midas (ceramic hybrid) Nest cases efficiently Maintain printer calibration and material management Post-processing workflow (washing, curing, finishing) Zirconia Dry Milling Operate zirconia dry mill Disc management & nesting optimization CAM strategy selection Sintering process management Understanding shrinkage compensation Furnace / Finishing Crystallization (for ceramic hybrid workflows) Staining & characterization Glazing Final polish & finishing QC for fit, margins, contacts, and aesthetics Efficiency & KPI Adherence Turnaround time awareness Production volume targets Minimize material waste Maintain organized lab workflow Collaborate with clinical team for same-day or fast-turn case What We're Looking For Experience operating a zirconia dry mill Familiarity with SprintRay or similar 3D printing systems preferred Strong digital design ability (Exocad, 3Shape, or equivalent) Capable of completing full cosmetic cases efficiently High aesthetic judgment for anterior cases Comfortable producing 16-20 unit full smile cases Strong understanding of staining and characterization Self-motivated and performance-driven Comfortable working in a fast-paced cosmetic environment Team player with growth mindset The GDG Way We are not a traditional lab.
