Job Description

Kids First Pediatric Dentistry is an established private practice located in both Elgin, IL & Schaumburg, IL. We are looking for outgoing and responsible individuals to join our team! Must be organized, reliable and willing to learn/work . Generally with no experience, sterilization is the starting point. Ideally, training will continue into limited dental assisting. For those that excel the option for assisting a doctor chairside will be offered. Full-time hours are Monday through Thursday 7:45AM - 5PM, Friday and Saturday 7:45AM - 2PM will be alternating. We are looking for one full time position for both Steri Tech and Dental Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Perform limited routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures Sterilize instruments according to regulations Take x-rays Update and maintain client's dental records Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene Provide post operative care instructions to parents Set up/break down/stock operative rooms Work up to assisting the Doctors chairside during operatives Constant communication with Doctors and staff is a MUST! Must be able to work at either location (Elgin or Schaumburg)
Skills:
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Multitasking is required Bilingual preferred, but not required (Spanish & Polish) Excellent communication skills is a must Ability to work effectively under pressure Experience is desired but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate. This includes studying the material provided to you so you may be able to preform at an expected level. We provide care to not only children, but their families and want to give them the best experience possible.

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
