Entry level of Dental plaster model fabrication Cusp Dental Laboratory is seeking a Full time Dental Lab Model/Plaster Technician in our model work Dept. to join our team. We are a midsize lab about 20 employees. The company remains on the forefront with the latest CAD/CAM technologies, digital impression processes, and advanced materials. Our services are provided by master dental technicians, many formally trained and educated in Japan. It is the foundation of our commitment to superior quality.

Dental Lab Model Technician:

Dental technicians requires both Science and Artistic aspects. Dentist will send us work order with dental impressions by manually or digitally. We work closely with dentist. This position is responsible for creating accurate stone models or print models from the provided impressions to fabricate natural looking ceramic teeth including implant bridges. Duties may include pouring and trimming dental stone models, print resin models, working with articulators, maintaining equipment and following laboratory safety and quality-control procedures.

Requirements/Minimum Qualification:

• Hand-eye coordination, Hand Craft work; Sculpture and Pottery
• Entry level, no dental lab tech experience necessary. Training will be provided. (Dental Laboratory experience / background is a plus)
• Sitting, standing and bending
• Particularly for sustained periods of time
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to work individually as well as in teams
• Willing to learn with Positive attitude Job duties:
• All aspects of dental model (and die) responsibilities; Pour impression, grind mold, trim, section and articulate stone and resin models
• Print and post-process digital prints
• Refill resin, maintain safe and clean 3D printing area
• Check inventory (Resin)
• Read and follow prescription included with case from doctors' written instructions
• Safely use different kinds of hand tools and equipment (Grinders and hand-piece)
• Follow daily schedule, production goals, and protocols
• Must be able to wear protective equipment for tasks requiring them, including eye wear, face mask and gloves

8 Hours, Monday through Friday 8:30am
