Job Overview:

As a Dental Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our dental instruments and equipment. Your work ensures that our clinical team can provide care in a sterile, hygienic environment. Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and work areas following OSHA and CDC guidelines. Monitor and operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. Set-up and break down treatment rooms Prepare dental instruments and trays for patient procedures. Set up and tear down treatment rooms Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and sterile clinical environment. Track inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for sterilization processes. Follow proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure smooth workflow in the practice. Laundry, we wash scrubs on site Seat patients, place bibs and topical gel miscellaneous cleaning duties

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

in

DENTAL ASSISTING OR DENTAL STERILIZATION REQUIRED.

Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards (OSHA, CDC). Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. Willingness to learn and adapt to new sterilization technologies and protocols. Qualifications X-Ray Certification is helpful but not required
