Entry Level Intern Dental Lab Technician

Applicants with a passion for healthcare are encouraged to apply. The individual must be eager to learn. Must have good verbal communication, organization, and technical skills. This role requires the candidate to be on their feet most of the day, using their hands, and requires being comfortable using a computer and different technical programs. This is a full-time paid intern position. All applicants must submit a resume with prior work experience. The main job duties will be, but not limited to:

• Disinfect incoming and outgoing cases
• Scan Rx to maintain digital copies
• Verify orders are filled correctly and on time according to due dates
• Verify all items incoming and outgoing are returned to customers, per RX
• Coordinate pickup, delivery and packaging of mailed cases
• Handle incoming calls for the laboratory
• Email or call customers about cases
• Handle invoices of billed lab work On-the-job training will be provided and additional job duties can include, but not limited:
• Read and understand patient treatment plans prescribed by Dr. and how this will correlate to the lab workflow
• Pour impression(s)
• Positioning of STL files for 3D printing and milling
• Post processing of 3D printed and milled objects
• Daily maintenance of 3D printers and milling machine
• Model room/model work/ post processing of printed files
