Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to join our Dental team. Duties Perform sterilization, decontamination, and reprocessing of dental instruments, including surgical tools and endoscopes, following strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Assemble, package, and label sterile medical instruments accurately to ensure readiness for clinical procedures Manage inventory levels of sterilized supplies and dental equipment, ensuring proper stock rotation and timely replenishment Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and drying units with precision and adherence to manufacturer guidelines Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations Conduct routine inspections of sterilization areas to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient instrument turnaround times while maintaining safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in sterile processing or medical instrument reprocessing within a Dental setting Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and infection prevention practices relevant to dental procedures Familiarity with medical terminology, surgical instrument handling Ability to operate sterilization equipment safely and effectively while adhering to infection control protocols Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and record-keeping Understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including aseptic techniques Excellent communication skills to collaborate with dental professionals and support staff effectively Join our team as a Dental Sterilization Technician where your expertise directly impacts patient safety and care quality.
