Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician Triple Cities Family Dental

•Binghamton, NY Triple Cities Family Dental is looking for a dependable, energetic Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician to join our team. We are a well-established, modern, privately owned dental practice with a great team and an excellent patient base. We are looking for someone who is organized, hardworking, friendly, and willing to jump in wherever needed to help keep our clinical team running smoothly. Dental experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Schedule This position follows our regular office schedule:

•2:30 PM No weekends Enjoy a consistent 4-day workweek with every Wednesday and weekend off. What You'll Do This position is an important part of keeping our clinical team organized, efficient, and ready to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities will include:

Cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing dental instruments Preparing instrument setups and procedure trays Maintaining sterilization equipment and following infection-control protocols Cleaning and turning over treatment rooms between patients Stocking operatories and monitoring clinical supplies Helping keep clinical and sterilization areas clean and organized Assisting doctors and dental assistants with room setup and breakdown Helping seat patients and prepare them for treatment as training progresses Assisting with basic clinical procedures as appropriate Helping the clinical team stay on schedule throughout the day Learning additional dental assisting responsibilities based on interest and ability Who We're Looking For The ideal person is: Dependable and punctual Friendly and professional Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to anticipate what needs to be done and take initiative Willing to learn and accept feedback Comfortable working closely with patients and coworkers Someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running efficiently A team player who is willing to help wherever needed Previous dental, medical, healthcare, or sterilization experience is a plus, but we care more about finding the right person with a strong work ethic and attitude.
