At Greencastle Family Dental , we're looking for a compassionate, dependable Dental Assistant/Sterile Tech who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Position Details Starting Pay:
$18.00/hour (higher pay available based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM Full-Time Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, and emergency treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, materials, and equipment before each appointment. Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines. Take and process digital X-rays (X-ray certification preferred). Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the practice management software. Perform routine maintenance and testing of sterilization equipment and maintain sterilization logs. Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment throughout the office. Follow all infection control, HIPAA, and workplace safety protocols. Support smooth patient flow by assisting with room turnover and preparing for upcoming appointments. Work closely with the entire team to provide an outstanding patient experience and promote a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Cross-train and assist with additional clinical or sterilization duties as needed to support the practice.
