Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between dental clinicians and laboratory technicians to facilitate accurate communication of case specifications and patient needs Oversee the complete workflow of dental prosthesis fabrication, including removable prosthodontics, full arch restorations, and implant-supported prostheses Coordinate digital design processes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating precise dental prosthetics and restorations Ensure proper handling, finishing, and quality control of dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and ceramics Maintain detailed medical documentation, including patient assessment notes, treatment plans, and laboratory records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Monitor infection control protocols within the lab environment to uphold HIPAA compliance and aseptic techniques Assist with training staff on laboratory techniques, CAD/CAM software, dental equipment operation, and anatomy knowledge to enhance team skills Support the scheduling of lab projects to meet deadlines while managing resources efficiently Qualifications Proven experience in dental office settings with a strong background in dental assisting or laboratory coordination Familiarity with EMR systems, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations Hands-on knowledge of dental fabrication techniques including ceramics, removable prosthodontics, complete denture fabrication, and implant prosthodontics Proficiency with digital design tools such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and 3D CAD modeling software Understanding of medical imaging procedures relevant to dentistry and implantology Skills in using micrometers for precise measurements and vital signs monitoring for patient assessment when necessary Knowledge of infection control practices specific to dental laboratories and clinical environments Ability to communicate effectively about complex concepts related to anatomy, prosthodontics, and medical documentation Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in laboratory techniques and custom prosthetic fabrication processes A proactive team player committed to continuous learning in areas such as pediatric dentistry or advanced implantology Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise makes a real difference!
