Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with Lead quality to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort maintaining strict adherence to infection prevention management, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures for all dental instruments and equipment Manage patient care from check-in to check-out, including vital signs measurement, medical documentation, and updating medical records using advanced patient management software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Take high-quality dental x-rays and 3D scans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols Perform chairside assisting with precision, supporting the dentist with dental instrument processing and handling complex dental equipment during procedures Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care while demonstrating excellent patient management skills Oversee the training and mentoring of new dental assistants to ensure consistent application of clinical confidentiality policies and infection control standards Requirements Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced dental clinic environment Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for accurate documentation and patient data management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and dental equipment operation Experience with pediatric dentistry procedures and working with pediatric patients is highly preferred Experience with Open dental software HIPAA and OSHA trained BLS updated Expertise in dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control practices Ability to perform dental x-ray imaging accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and other clinical staff Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and proficiency in handling medical documentation related to oral surgery or other specialized treatments Job Responsibilities

• Enters dental supply orders into the order system for approval.
• Maintain levels of dental supplies in the oce for smooth eciencies.
• Addresses problems and recommend effective solutions for dental supply waste control by team members.
• Communicate with OM when going over budget before going over and why.
• Ordering supplied for doctors while staying within monthly budgets
• Entering out of ADVO supplies into ADVO when ordering from outside resources that are lower in cost.
• Completes all required organizational training in a timely fashion.
• Comply with state and Federal infection control standards in the dental oce and operatories, including but not limited to: wearing protective barriers such as gloves, masks, scrubs, and eye wear; disinfecting and sterilizing instruments and treatment areas; and disposing properly of contaminated or bio-hazardous waste/materials.
• Understand and agree to maintain production standards.
• Lead by example and look to build eciency in patient workflow.
• Maintain a positive & professional work environment to boost department morale.
• Address problems or incidents with employees as soon as possible to prevent any further occurrences of the action and to enable employees to make necessary improvements in a timely manner.
• Follow and create daily opportunities with time blocks to complete training, SOP tasks and Dental Intel calls.
• All Operatories are to be meticulously maintained at all times so that a clean image is projected. All Operatories are to be stocked at the end of the day to ensure readiness the next morning and facilitate patient treatment beginning at morning starting time.
• Assist other dental assistants, hygienists, and oce staff as needed to assure smooth patient flow.
• Effectively present to patients in a professional and confidential manner dental treatment plan and proposed plan for continuing treatments in non-clinical terms.
• Understand and explain financial options to patients.
• Document/chart all dental procedures performed during each patient visit according to the dentist's instructions and legal requirements.
• Provides comprehensive post operative dental instructions to patients (as directed by the clinician).
• Utilize all release and consent forms when applicable to protect the treating dentist and Frandsen Dental in legal matters.
• Communicate with the patients all treatment to be rendered prior to starting the procedure to avoid patient conflict.
• Ensure operatories are appropriately equipped and stocked with inventory and reorder when necessary.
• Maintain equipment protocols, including but not limited to: clean evacuation system, lubricate and maintain dental handpieces, monitor and clean equipment, clean dental lab plaster traps and maintain clean oce environment.
• Ensures each operatory is cleaned and sanitized, stocked with necessary instruments and supplies, and is ready for patients before the patient is greeted and escorted to the operatory.
• Maintains focus on the patient experience, ensuring they have a great patient experience by making sure they are comfortable and feel like they're welcomed and appreciated.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, take radiographs (x-rays) in accordance with established guidelines and assists in maintaining accurate dental charts/findings.
• Assured buckets are correctly set up and stocked for the selected procedure.
