SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direct supervision, is responsible for assisting the Dentist in the treatment and processing of patients; and performs administrative related duties as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
One year assistant experience including oral surgery; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Graduation from an accredited dental assistant school preferred. Must be qualified to perform radiographic procedures if any of the criteria is met: (1) current certification as a certified assistant by the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc.; (2) successful completion of the dental radiation health and safety examination administered by the Dental Assisting National Board Inc.; or (3) successful completion of an examination specified by the TSBDE and administered by a licensed Texas dentist. 200 N.
