In this pivotal role, you will craft high-quality dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and full arch restorations, utilizing advanced ceramic materials and digital design techniques. Your expertise will ensure precise, aesthetically pleasing results that meet the highest standards of function and beauty, contributing directly to patient satisfaction and successful restorative outcomes. Header Responsibilities Fabricate and finish dental prostheses using ceramics, ensuring accurate color matching, anatomy, and occlusion based on detailed prescriptions and digital designs. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for precise digital modeling and fabrication of restorations. Perform laboratory techniques such as layering ceramics, glazing, staining, and polishing to achieve natural aesthetics and durability. Collaborate with dentists during chairside assisting sessions when needed to ensure proper fit and function of restorations. Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information and ensure a safe working environment. Conduct quality checks using tools like micrometers to verify dimensions and fit before delivery. Stay updated on advancements in dental ceramics, digital design for prosthetics, implantology, removable prosthodontics, and related laboratory techniques to continually enhance craftsmanship. Header Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Ceramic Technician with a strong portfolio of completed restorations. Extensive knowledge of ceramics, dental fabrication processes, laboratory techniques, CAD/CAM software, and digital design for dental prosthetics. Familiarity with implantology procedures, full arch dental restoration, removable prosthodontics, complete denture fabrication, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry. Ability to interpret dental prescriptions accurately while understanding medical terminology related to prosthodontics and implantology. Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems in a dental or medical setting is preferred. Strong understanding of infection control standards such as HIPAA compliance within a dental laboratory environment. Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in using precision tools like micrometers for measurements. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry is advantageous. Effective communication skills for collaborating with dental professionals during chairside assisting or laboratory consultations.
