Periodontal office is looking for the right person to join an amazing team as a dental sterilization technician. Our ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, and must be proficient at multi-tasking. We will provide training to get you to where you want to be with your skillset. Responsibilities Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with established standards and protocols Ensure that all instruments are properly labeled and stored in the correct location Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and keep the records Clean, maintain and stock operatories Perform quality control tests on sterilized items, including weekly biological (spore) testing Maintain records of sterilization processes and results Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials, including sharps disposal and biohazard waste management Inspect instruments for damage or defects before sterilization Office cleaning and tracking products and restocking Office laundry Maintaining the office rooms in a clean and sanitary condition Assist hygienists as needed with periodontal charting and room setup Perform daily suction/trap cleaning and weekly water line treatment Conduct routine safety equipment checks (fire extinguisher, AED, eyewash station) Assists with maintaining established office policies and procedures, objectives, and quality improvement, safety, and environmental and infection control standards. Adheres to attendance standards in order to perform the job functions for daily operations and/or continuity of patient care. Previous experience is a plus but not necessary, we will provide great training to the right candidate.

Multiple locations: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Longview WA and Thursdays in Longview WA or Gearhart OR (occasionally)
