Candidates must preferably have prior dental experience but we are more than happy to train a motivated and eager-to-learn team member on the job. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00am-4:00pm. What would you do as a sterilization technician?
Sterilize & Sanitize :
Operate autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment to ensure instruments are properly sanitized and ready for patient care.
Maintain Order :
Keep track of sterilization cycles and maintain accurate logs of equipment, cleaning cycles, and testing to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Prepare Instrumentation :
Organize, pack, and prepare clean, sterilized instruments for upcoming dental procedures, ensuring they are safely stored and easily accessible.
Quality Assurance :
Conduct regular checks and quality control tests to ensure the sterilization process is functioning effectively and meeting all regulatory standards (OSHA, CDC). Support the
Team :
Work closely with the dental assistants and hygienists to ensure that every instrument is in place and ready for use, contributing to a seamless patient experience.
Infection Control Champion :
Follow all infection control guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff.
