You will play a Vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to our diverse patient community, located in a nice and safe area Homewood, AL! We are looking for a part-time or full time associate for $500/day Monday - Thursday OR 30% Collections. (Whichever is Highest Pay) This position offers the opportunity to utilize your comprehensive dental expertise, engage in patient-centered care, and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. As an Associate Dentist, you will perform a wide range of dental procedures, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and contribute to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative procedures. Perform dental treatments such as extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Conduct patient assessments using medical and dental terminology to develop accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and managing patient records efficiently. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and trust. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while managing medical documentation and dental records accurately. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow and enhance patient comfort. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, medical imaging, and procedural techniques relevant to general dentistry and specialized fields like pediatrics or endodontics. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Proven experience in dental office settings or clinics with proficiency in dental fabrication and client communication. Familiarity with electronic health record systems Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Skills in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics basics, oral surgery, and implant procedures. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity toward young patients when necessary. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages while explaining complex procedures clearly.
