Job Description
Job Overview We are searching for a dentist who would like to open their own dentistry in the prestigious Camelback Corridor in a high end medical building. This role would include ownership opportunities on top of a base pay. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret medical imaging results to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing wellness. Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-specific procedures is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance requirements. Skilled in performing dental fabrication procedures and managing complex cases involving prosthodontics or endodontics. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Prior experience working in a busy dental office or clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with medical records management is a plus.
