The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry with experience in patient assessment, dental procedures, and comprehensive oral care. As a key member of our practice, you will deliver high-quality dental services, ensure patient comfort, and uphold strict standards of safety and infection control. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assess patient oral health using advanced diagnostic tools and medical imaging techniques. Provide a wide range of dental treatments including preventive care, restorations, pssc, space maintainers, and simple extractions. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members. Maintain detailed medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to prevent cross-contamination during all procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including pediatric dentistry when applicable. Use dental fabrication skills for prosthetic devices when necessary and ensure proper dental office procedures are followed at all times. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, medical terminology, and dental office software such as Dentrix. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare environment with proficiency in general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with Dentrix dental office management software is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral structures and the ability to interpret medical imaging accurately. Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and other complex procedures is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs comprehensively while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
