  • Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team.
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry procedures, combined with your ability to communicate effectively and deliver compassionate care, will contribute to the success of our practice. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, performing clinical examinations, and utilizing medical imaging techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and healthcare diagnosis principles. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and treatment planning. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety. Communicate clearly with patients regarding their dental health status, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions. Document all procedures accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations. Assist in dental fabrication processes including crowns, bridges, and implants as needed. Support the team with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay updated on advances in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implantology to provide the highest standard of care. Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant procedures. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic (preferred), Eaglesoft or Dentrix for clinical documentation and practice management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants placement/removal, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Understanding of HIPAA compliance and state healthcare regulations related to medical documentation and medical records management. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a commitment to quality patient outcomes. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental diagnosis and treatment planning is highly desirable.
