Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans. Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy. Utilize advanced dental software like Open Dental to document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment for patients and staff. Conduct oral surgery procedures and provide post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal healing and patient comfort. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency, reduce patient chair time, and improve overall treatment quality. Educate patients on dental terminology, oral hygiene practices, and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong oral health. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or office setting with a focus on general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures. Familiarity with electronic health records system Open Dental for accurate documentation of medical records. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines.
