Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will perform complex surgical procedures to improve patients' oral health, including dental extractions, dental implants, and other advanced oral surgeries. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of safety, infection control, and medical documentation. Duties Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures including dental extractions, dental implants, Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools to diagnose and plan surgical interventions accurately Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Collaborate with general dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care Provide clear client communication regarding procedures, post-operative care, and treatment options to ensure patient understanding and comfort Document all procedures meticulously in medical records using dental terminology and healthcare diagnosis standards Experience Proven experience in oral surgery or a related specialty within a dental clinic Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and infection control practices Hands-on experience with dental fabrication processes including prosthodontics and dental implants is preferred Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating younger patients effectively Ability to navigate state healthcare regulations and maintain compliance with all legal requirements related to medical records and patient privacyJoin us in delivering top-tier oral surgical care that transforms smiles and enhances lives!
