General Dentist Lake Merritt Dental - 3.4 Oakland, CA Job Details Part-time $150,000 - $200,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Dentistry Teamwork General dentistry Patient interaction Full Job Description General Dentist (Independent Contractor) Modern, High-Tech Private Practice | Part-Time| Oakland, CA We are a fast-growing, award-winning dental clinic in Uptown Oakland looking to add an experienced and team-oriented General Dentist to our practice. This is an independent contractor position (1099) with part-time hours to start and the potential to grow. Our office is fully digital, eco-conscious, and equipped with the latest dental technology including CEREC, Sirona Galileos 3D imaging, and Itero scanner . We've been recognized by the California State Senate and Assembly, named a National Green Leader , and featured in Oakland and Alameda magazines as a leader in modern dentistry and sustainability.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a dentist who is: Comfortable working independently Confident in restorative, endodontic, periodontic, prosthetic and Invisalign Experienced in comprehensive care and same-day dentistry A strong communicator who works well with our established, supportive team Collaborative - ready to integrate smoothly into our systems and staff culture
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality general dental care to patients of all ages Support the hygiene department in preventive dentistry (CAMBRA model) Educate patients on oral health and treatment options Perform same-day treatments when appropriate Maintain accurate electronic dental records (paperless office) Refer to in-house or outside specialists when needed Collaborate with our team to ensure excellent patient experiences
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school 3+ years of clinical experience preferred Proficiency in general dentistry; specialty is plus Experience with CEREC and Galileos a strong plus Tech-savvy and efficient in digital workflows Excellent patient communication skills Available part-time , with potential for full-time as patient demand grows Strong references
Schedule:
8-hour shifts Part-time to start (2-3 days/week) In-person only
