Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose endodontic issues accurately, utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology. Perform root canal treatments, including cleaning, shaping, disinfecting, and filling of root canals with aseptic technique. Manage complex cases involving dental implants, oral surgery, or prosthodontics in coordination with other specialists. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, post-operative care, and infection control practices to ensure informed decision-making. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and billing purposes. Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy and medical diagnosis to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized certification or training in endodontics. Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on endodontics; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in dental office software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix; experience with dental fabrication is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting. Excellent client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and foster trust. Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis processes, and dental diagnosis techniques.
