In this vital role, you will provide advanced surgical care, including complex dental extractions, implant placements, and other oral surgeries. Your expertise will ensure patients receive comprehensive, compassionate treatment in a state-of-the-art facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on patient health and confidence while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence in dental care. Duties Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures such as dental extractions, bone grafts, and implant placements with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately and plan surgical interventions effectively Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations Collaborate seamlessly with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care Document all procedures meticulously in medical records using dental terminology and adhere to legal standards for medical documentation Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey Qualifications Valid license to practice as an Oral Surgeon with relevant certifications in oral surgery or maxillofacial surgery Extensive experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic procedures preferred Proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Demonstrated expertise in four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency during procedures Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly Commitment to infection control standards and HIPAA compliance in all clinical activities Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional oral health care!
