Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry, with the ability to deliver comprehensive dental care tailored to young patients. This role involves performing routine and complex dental procedures, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes for pediatric patients, and fostering positive experiences for children and their families. Duties Diagnose and treat dental conditions specific to pediatric patients, including dental caries, malocclusions, and developmental issues. Perform dental procedures such as dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, and pulp therapy with precision and care. Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging techniques to assess oral health accurately. Educate children and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring accuracy in documentation. Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to safeguard patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery when necessary. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development. Experience Proven experience working in a pediatric dentistry setting or general dentistry with pediatric focus within a dental clinic environment. Proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to pediatric patients. Familiarity with infection control standards, medical imaging techniques, and root canal therapy procedures. Ability to perform dental extractions, restorations, and other complex procedures involving aseptic technique. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly with children and their families. Prior experience managing medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations is preferred. Pay:
$167,272.25 - $201,446.16 per year
