Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Perform dental procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and space maintainers with precision and care. Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to document patient records accurately and efficiently. Conduct oral surgery procedures adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Assess patient needs through detailed patient care and evaluation, including medical and dental history review and medical documentation. Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options in a friendly and understandable manner. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and ensuring confidentiality at all times. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dentist with specialization or certification in Pediatric Dentistry. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with pediatric patients. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy relevant to pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and dental fabrication techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly with children and their guardians.
