Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will encompass a wide range of dental procedures, from routine examinations to complex treatments, all delivered with professionalism and compassion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. Starting pay will be negotiated. Our standard pay will start with 35% of the daily collection or $500.00 basic per 8 hours shift or whichever is higher. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans. Conduct general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Carry out advanced treatments including dental implants, root canal therapy, oral surgery, orthodontics, and endodontics as needed. Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to diagnose dental conditions accurately. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Communicate effectively with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient care efficiency. Stay current with the latest advancements in general dentistry by participating in ongoing education and training. Manage dental office operations efficiently while ensuring compliance with healthcare diagnosis standards and dental terminology. Qualifications Valid state dental license to practice as a General Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental office software such as Eaglesoft, or Dexis. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Expertise in performing dental extractions, oral surgery, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and implant placement. Familiarity with digital medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements for medical documentation and records management. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus; certification in anesthesiology or sedation is advantageous but not required.
