The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry procedures, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role offers an opportunity to utilize advanced dental techniques and technologies in a collaborative environment focused on improving oral health and enhancing patient satisfaction. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of dental conditions while adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Develop individualized treatment plans encompassing procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and dental implants. Conduct various dental procedures with precision, including restorations, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Stay informed about state healthcare regulations and maintain compliance with all legal requirements related to medical documentation and patient confidentiality. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current credentials in good standing. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office environment. Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for charting and documentation purposes. Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care. Expertise in performing complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques aligned with healthcare guidelines. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their oral health needs effectively. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
