The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, demonstrating proficiency in general and specialized dental procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental treatments in a professional and compassionate manner. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' oral health and overall well-being while working within a supportive and innovative environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing advanced dental imaging and diagnostic tools. Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment options and procedures clearly to patients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and legal standards. Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination during all clinical procedures. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Provide pediatric dentistry services tailored to the needs of children and adolescents, ensuring a positive experience for young patients. Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Adhere strictly to all safety standards related to medical imaging, dental fabrication, and infection control procedures within the clinic environment. Skills Extensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures combined with specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Proficiency in using dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to comprehensive patient care. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess individual needs compassionately while maintaining professionalism. Demonstrated expertise in dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication techniques, and infection control protocols. Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning purposes. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing medical records confidentiality and data security within a clinical setting. Effective communication skills for explaining complex procedures clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds. Experience working in busy dental clinics or offices with high patient volumes while maintaining attention to detail.
