Associate General Dentist

Seeking a general dentist with at least 2 years working experience, or completed a 1-year

GPR/AEGD

residency and at least 1 year of working experience. We are looking for a Part time Dentist to work on Tuesdays 9am-5pm and Wednesdays 11am-530pm. Ability to work Friday and Saturdays not required but a plus. Possible last Friday and first Saturday of the month shifts avaialable 9am-3pm.

Key responsibilities and expectactions include:

Must have unrestricted DDS/DMD Degree in Good Standing; Active Dental License to practice in Washington, DC, no restrictions. Must have current and up to date Malpractice Insurance Perform diagnostic exams including comprehensive and emergency exams; establishing treatment plans and in some instances presenting and explaining the plan to patients. Ability and desire to conduct same day treatment. Bread and butter dentistry capabilities including but not limited to: Composite restorations in posterior and anterior; Anterior and Molar crown preparations/deliveries and bridges, Anterior/Premolar endo, no molar endo unless comfortable. Simple extractions and surgical comfortability. 3rd molar and impacted extractions case by case and based on comfort level- not required. Familiarity and experience with Implant Restoration is a must; implant placement experience not required but a plus! Willingness to perform some hygiene procedures from cleanings to deep cleanings but not expected regularly. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills to keep up with notetaking from patient visits is required.

Advanced technology:

we have iTero Scanner and a Trios. We treatment plan and see many Invisalign cases but we also opt to refer select cases to our in-house ortho team; We have rotary Endo materials. Flexibility in supplies ordering to your liking and comfort. PT Lab tech to handle the partial/denture cases but Associate will have flexibility in the cases they would like to do.

Patient population:

We have a substantial number of New patient requests per month, Hygiene pool is very high and we have a strong recall system. FFS/private insurance office. Great potential for high earnings. Most implants referred out- patients return for implant restorations. A Plus if you have implant placement experience. We have a small cozy family practice with a warm, happy, and experienced team that work very well together. We are looking for an amazing dentist that they can show appreciation for and spoil .
