The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Periodontics with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of oral health and patient satisfaction within our modern dental office. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop accurate diagnoses. Perform a range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing and implant management. Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools to facilitate precise diagnoses and treatment planning. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to streamline patient care processes. Maintain detailed medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care instructions. Stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities. Skills Proficiency in using Dentrix and Dexis dental software for patient management and documentation. Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures and medical imaging techniques. Expertise in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting. Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks and manage dental office operations efficiently. Excellent patient communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and state healthcare regulations governing medical records management.
