Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and specialized procedures will help create healthy smiles and foster long-term patient relationships. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, medical and dental history reviews, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices in general dentistry and specialty areas such as endodontics and pediatric dentistry. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to safeguard patient health and comply with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics procedures, and other advanced treatments. Skilled in pediatric dentistry techniques tailored for children's comfort and safety. Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements related to patient privacy and medical records management.
