In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform smiles through precise diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and compassionate patient interactions. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical terminology appropriately. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics procedures. Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), oral surgery, and dental fabrication. Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose issues accurately and plan effective treatments while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants to ensure four-handed dentistry practices that enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health care practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness. Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles. Experience performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on providing compassionate service in pediatric dentistry settings when applicable. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Familiarity with dental office experience including managing medical documentation, medical records, and adhering to HIPAA compliance standards.
