Job Description

General Dentist Euola, is seeking compassionate and skilled General Dentists to join our team supporting the Orlando VA Healthcare System . This is an opportunity to practice comprehensive dentistry while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our nation's Veterans. Work Location Primary location:
Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona) Providers may also provide coverage at: Lake Baldwin VA Clinic Viera VA Clinic Daytona Beach VA Clinic What You'll Do As a General Dentist, you will provide comprehensive oral healthcare services to Veteran patients including: Comprehensive dental examinations Diagnosis and treatment planning Restorative dentistry Crowns and bridges Fixed and removable prosthodontics Endodontic treatment Routine and surgical extractions Implant restoration Preventive dentistry Oral pathology evaluations Emergency dental care Minor oral surgical procedures Treatment of temporomandibular disorders Documentation within the VA Electronic Health Record Collaboration with hygienists, assistants, specialists, and medical providers Patient education regarding oral health Minimum Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. State or Territory Current DEA Registration Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Ability to successfully complete VA credentialing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications VA or Military healthcare experience Experience restoring implants Experience with oral surgery CPRS/Cerner experience Work Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 40 hours per week
