The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthodontic treatment, with a passion for improving patient smiles and oral health. As an Orthodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, planning, and implementing comprehensive orthodontic care, utilizing advanced techniques and technology to deliver optimal results. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped clinic committed to excellence in patient care and professional growth. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including dental and medical history reviews, to determine orthodontic needs. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest orthodontic techniques and materials. Perform orthodontic procedures such as placement of braces, aligners, retainers, and other corrective appliances. Utilize dental imaging and diagnostic tools to monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Educate patients on treatment options, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists in areas such as prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatrics for comprehensive patient care. Adhere to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Stay updated on advancements in orthodontics, dental terminology, and healthcare diagnosis to provide cutting-edge treatments. Manage dental fabrication processes for appliances and ensure quality standards are met consistently. Experience Proven experience working as an Orthodontist within a dental clinic or healthcare setting with a focus on orthodontic treatments. Extensive knowledge of dental diagnosis, including the use of medical imaging and anatomy understanding for precise treatment planning. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles relevant to treating younger patients effectively. Experience performing dental extractions, oral surgery, root canal therapy, and implant placements is advantageous. Strong client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Knowledge of infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and state healthcare regulations essential for maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
