This vital role supports endodontic procedures, ensures smooth clinical operations, and enhances patient care experiences. As an Endodontist Assistant, you will work closely with endodontists to prepare treatment areas, assist during procedures, and maintain the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your enthusiasm for dental health and commitment to patient comfort will help us deliver exceptional endodontic services in a professional and welcoming environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills within a vibrant healthcare setting. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for procedures Assist endodontists during root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures with chairside support Manage patient records accurately using patient management software and ensure all medical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations Take high-quality dental x-rays and operate medical imaging devices such as 3D scanners in accordance with safety protocols Process dental instruments following sterilization procedures to prevent infection and maintain aseptic technique Monitor vital signs and assist in assessing patient comfort throughout treatment sessions Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing patient information and medical records securely Skills Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment operation Experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and healthcare infection control expertise Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and oral surgery support Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health conditions Ability to operate dental x-ray machines safely while adhering to radiation safety standards Excellent patient management skills, demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and effective communication Join our team as an Endodontist Assistant where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering outstanding patient care.
