Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced dentist to join our client's private office. This is a very reputable office that needs a dentist due to their associate moving. They are needing a dentist who can work anywhere from 3 to 5 days per week , depending on preference. No nights and no weekends are needed. This is a state of the art office with an amazing and tenured staff . There is also wonderful mentoring available. General restorative procedures is all that is required. If experienced with endo and clear aligners, that would be a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general and specialized dentistry practices, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, performing dental procedures, and educating patients on maintaining optimal oral hygiene. Your expertise in dental technology and procedures will contribute to creating a welcoming environment focused on patient comfort and health. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical documentation standards. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize dental imaging tools and medical imaging technology to diagnose oral conditions accurately. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient treatment times and comfort. Maintain detailed medical records using dental office software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for accurate documentation of patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care tailored to diverse patient needs. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current certification in good standing. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical records management. Strong knowledge of general restorative procedures. If can perform advanced procedures that is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting. Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions and root canal therapy efficiently and safely. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education across diverse populations. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and the ability to interpret medical imaging accurately. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.
