Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate General Dentist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, diagnosing oral health issues, and developing personalized treatment plans. Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of all procedures performed. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to safeguard patient health. Use dental imaging tools such as X-rays to diagnose conditions accurately while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties relevant to general practice. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medical documentation, HIPAA privacy rules, and dental office policies. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Denticon or similar systems for scheduling, charting, and record keeping. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic work, and pediatric dentistry procedures preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to oral health assessment and treatment planning. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care by assessing needs accurately and communicating treatment options clearly. Experience adhering to infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in medical documentation and records management. $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
