Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assisting program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. Requirements Completion of a Dental Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
Certification:
DANB RHS and RDA and/or CDA At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant working with patients providing fourhanded/sixhanded dentristry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
