Associate Dentist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive general dentistry procedures, including examinations, fillings, crowns, root canals, implant placement and orthodontics. Utilize Oryx to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Assess patient needs through detailed evaluations, including medical and dental histories, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to streamline patient flow and enhance treatment efficiency. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric and adult patients. Maintain precise medical records and ensure all documentation aligns with legal standards for medical and dental records management. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Oryx or Dentrix is highly preferred. Ability to perform surgical extractions, molar Endo and other complex procedures with precision. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, medical imaging practices, and anatomy fundamentals. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while communicating effectively about treatment plans. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
