Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments to patients, ensuring optimal oral health and comfort. Your expertise will help transform patient experiences by delivering precise, compassionate care within a collaborative environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your advanced endodontic skills while working alongside a team committed to excellence in dental care. Duties Perform comprehensive root canal treatments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution using state-of-the-art techniques and equipment Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to determine appropriate endodontic procedures Utilize digital imaging technology such as medical imaging to accurately diagnose and plan treatments Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, and prosthodontists to coordinate comprehensive patient care Document all procedures meticulously in medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive practices to promote long-term oral health Skills Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management Extensive knowledge of anatomy relevant to endodontics and general dentistry practices Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex dental procedures with precision Experience with dental fabrication techniques for restorations following endodontic treatments Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and effectively Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles when treating young patients requiring specialized care Knowledge of medical terminology related to oral surgery, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry Competence in medical documentation and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow Join us as an Endodontist and become part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care.
