Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring their oral health and overall well-being. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills, collaborate with a talented team, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through comprehensive dental treatment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis, utilizing medical and dental terminology accurately. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics. Utilize dental imaging technology and aseptic techniques to ensure precise diagnoses and safe treatment environments. Conduct patient consultations to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies clearly and transparently. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring patient confidentiality. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Adhere to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality care. Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, similar platforms, Physical charts. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry, office does currently use x-ray film, but are open to changing to sensor. Skilled in performing dental extractions, Limited endodontics, crowns, composites, and other restorative procedures. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively. Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation practices. Currently using paper charting as well as Eaglesoft. film x-rays, but are willing to update to sensor/digital, CBCT/Pano machine.
