Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. As a Dentist, you will diagnose and treat various dental conditions, perform procedures, and educate patients on oral health practices. Your expertise in general dentistry and commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental issues. Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, and oral surgery. Utilize dental fabrication techniques to create custom dental appliances. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry practices. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Experience Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and familiarity with general dentistry practices. Experience with oral surgery is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
