Locum Tenens General Dentist - Full-Time |
Millinocket, ME Position:
Full-Time Locum Tenens General Dentist (4x10 Schedule)
Start Date:
As soon as credentialed (approximately 1 month)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-6:00
PM Call:
None Patient Volume:
12-16 patients per day Interested but don't have a Maine license? My client

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join a well-established practice in Millinocket, Maine on a full-time locum tenens basis. This opportunity offers an excellent work-life balance with a four-day workweek, no call responsibilities, and a collaborative clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. This is an ideal opportunity for a provider who enjoys practicing the full scope of general dentistry while working alongside an experienced dental team in a supportive practice setting. Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including: Comprehensive oral health evaluations and diagnosis of dental conditions Composite and restorative fillings Simple and surgical extractions Root canal therapy (endodontics) Crown and bridge procedures Preventive dental care, including patient education and oral hygiene counseling Administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when appropriate Accurate documentation and maintenance of complete dental records Practice Environment You'll work alongside an experienced team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative and efficient clinical setting.
Practice Includes:
Collaborative team of dental professionals Experienced Dental Hygienists Skilled Dental Assistants Supportive administrative staff Modern, patient-focused practice environment Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active Maine Dental License (or ability to obtain) Active DEA registration (if required) Experience providing comprehensive general dentistry Strong clinical and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team
Pay:
$120.00 - $140.00 per hour
