Responsibilities include:
+ Takes dental histories of all patients upon admission in order to determine extent of care needed. + Examines patients and administers tests so that dental malfunctions are discovered. + Performs oral surgery as required in order to remedy dental malfunctions. + Instructs dental assistants so that oral care can be provided to the patient. + Orders laboratory examinations and analysis, x-rays, and specific medication so that complete dental care is provided. + Keeps records and makes reports in order to document patients' dental progress. + Supervises qualified dental staff in order to deliver efficient service to patients.- Minimum Qualifications
