In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to perform specialized procedures such as dental crown and bridges, dental extractions and bone grafts, root canal therapy, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and implants will help us deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize advanced dental software systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental wellness. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, adhering to medical documentation standards and medical terminology. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education related to pediatric dentistry, dental fabrication, and emerging technologies. Qualifications DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, implants, and dental extractions. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly. Ability to perform root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, or veneers and other complex procedures with precision and aseptic technique.
