Nestled in downtown Cranford with a fresh "home-away-from-home" vibe, South Avenue Dental offers comprehensive care—from general and cosmetic to restorative procedures—using advanced digital & 3D imaging, intraoral cameras, and Cone Beam CT technology. Recognized by patients for warm, inviting service ("I love my dentist," "finally found my dental home") We are looking for an Oral Surgeon who is able to come in to come in one to two times a month (every 2-4 weeks). There is an opportunity for more time as the practice continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality oral and maxillofacial surgical care in a patient-centered environment Perform a range of surgical procedures, including surgical and impacted extractions, bone grafting, dental implant placement, exposure and bonding, and other dentoalveolar procedures Diagnose and develop treatment plans utilizing CBCT imaging, digital radiography, and advanced diagnostic technology Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, risks, benefits, and postoperative care while ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience Collaborate closely with the restorative and hygiene teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards Contribute to an exceptional patient experience through clear communication and compassionate care Requirements DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited Oral Surgery residency program Active New Jersey dental license Strong communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach Commitment to continuing education and clinical excellence Minimum 5 year of clinical experience preferred
