  • Contract Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team.
In this vital role, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating complex root canal issues, providing expert care that preserves natural teeth and alleviates patient discomfort. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient-centered treatment, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique. Duties Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and care, utilizing advanced dental imaging technology. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, to develop tailored treatment plans. Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, and prosthodontists to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply infection control protocols rigorously to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Engage in continuous education on the latest endodontic techniques, materials, and innovations such as dental fabrication tools and Epic or Eaglesoft software systems. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized certification or training in endodontics. Proven experience in endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and related treatments. Proficiency with dental office management software such as Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, medical imaging, and infection control standards. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently for optimal patient comfort and procedural success.
