Conduct specialized procedures including endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry to meet diverse patient needs. Utilize dental software systems like Open Dental, Dentrix for accurate medical documentation, treatment planning, and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain detailed medical records, ensure proper dental fabrication procedures are followed, and stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dental practice. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental office operations and clinical procedures. Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental , Dentrix for documentation and scheduling purposes. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry techniques and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging protocols. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery confidently. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management. Competence in utilizing medical terminology effectively within clinical documentation. Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as endodontics, anesthesiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical diagnosis.
