Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice on a part-time basis (Wednesdays, Fridays, and two Saturdays per month). The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is proficient in a wide range of dental procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in general dentistry, along with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. The Associate Dentist will collaborate closely with our team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. We are looking for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive patient experience in a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy while adhering to aseptic techniques. Utilize dental software such as OpenDental for patient management and medical documentation. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and educating patients on oral health. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment. Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry in the state of Nevada Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
