This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. As an Associate Dentist, you will deliver high-quality treatments, foster positive patient relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our practice. Your expertise in general dentistry and specialized procedures will help improve patients' oral health and confidence while adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards. This paid position is ideal for motivated professionals eager to make a meaningful impact through exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, extractions. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain precise dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to enhance patient understanding and satisfaction. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing education related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and other specialties. Requirements:
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
  • Active New York dental license
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Prior experience working in a dental office preferred Knowledge of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with patients and create a welcoming environment for patients with dental anxiety. Experience adhering to infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a clinical environment. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation requirements for legal compliance.
